2017 Thinking Outside the Cookie Box Conference!

Reserve just 1 day of your Spring Break engaging in really slick Science experiments on the campus of San Diego Defense Contractor, Northrop Grumman.  The goal of the conference is to inspire girls to consider the field of Science and Engineering as a future career.  Come as a troop or come alone.  Girls should wear their Girl Scout uniform and prepare to have a fun science filled day that will consist of:

  1. A tour of our facility/labs.
  2. Super smart women Engineers in San Diego – some that used to be Girl Scouts!
  3. A Ban Bossy presentation
  4. Hands-on Science Experiments
  5. All snacks, beverages and lunch

 

  • The cost is totally free per Girl Scout (includes activites, snacks and lunch for girl scouts only) Adults are asked to bring a sack lunch and their own snacks.
  • Registrations limited to 40 girls and 4 adults (registered/background checked/US citizens with ID) that will cover the safety wise requirements. Adults must agree to be respecful to not interfere with the event activities.  All registrations are on a first come first served basis.
