Bake Sale and Craft Workshop
Ivy’s troop is having a craft workshop and bake sale Sunday, December 5th any time between 3:00-6:00 pm At Montevalle Recreation Center. $10 to make some bath salts or decorate a tote bag. There will also be chocolate chip cookies and other goodies for sale. They plan to use the proceeds to purchase supplies for “Operation Shower”, an organization that hosts large group baby showers for Military Moms and Moms-to-be who are expecting a baby but who are living far away from their friends and families because they or their spouses are serving our country. Parents can buy a cup of coffee or hot chocolate and shop the bake sale while they wait, and there will be a “coloring table” for the little ones to help keep them occupied while big brother or sister finishes their craft. RSVP’s are NOT required, however if you think you might be participating please e-mail Ivy at ivy.grenard@cox.net or call me at 619-743-2499. We would like to try to get an idea of how many to expect. But even if you decide at the last minute, please join us!
