Junior STEM Workshop

Reserve just 1 day of your Spring Break engaging in realy slick Science experiments on the campus of Defense Contractor, Northrop Grumman.  The experiments will be led by the girls in Troop 6075, a STEM (Science Technology  Engineering & Math)  focused troop.  The goal of the conference is to inspire other girls to consider the field of Science and Engineering as a future career.  Come as a troop or come alone.  Girls should wear their Girl Scout uniform and prepare to have a fun science filled day that will consist of:

  1. A tour of Northrop’s Production Facility and its Command and Control Futures Laboratory.
  2. Super smart women Engineers in San Diego – some that used to be Girl Scouts!
  3. A Ban Bossy presentation
  4. Hands-on Science Experiments
  5. All snacks, beverages and lunch

$15 per Girl Scout (includes activites, snacks, lunch and take home items) No on site registration

(Adult Northrop Grumman volunteers will be onsite for Safety Ratios)
