Beach and Canyon Clean Up September 16

Join ILACSD for San Diego’s largest cleanup of the year!

Coastal Cleanup Day

Saturday, September 16, 2017

9 am – noon

Join us as we clean up and beautify 100+ beaches, canyons & neighborhoods. Last year,  7,550 volunteers came out to our 114 coastal and inland sites and successfully removed 185,000 pounds of litter in just 3 hours! Volunteers also helped build trails, plant new native landscape and remove graffiti. Join us this year and be a part of this international event!

Registration is open now! You can help out at sites with the highest need for volunteers by looking for a location with a green map marker. For more information and registration, head over to CleanupDay.org

When you register, pledge to Bring Your Own bucket, work gloves, a reusable water bottle, or all three! When you choose reusables, you help cut down on the number of disposable items used for the event!

Each volunteer will need to sign a waiver form and volunteers under the age of 18 will need a parent/guardian signature. Visit CleanupDay.org for more details!

If you can’t come to this clean up then sign up on our website to get an email reminder when we’ve got a date for the April cleanup.

We hope to see you there!
