Wreaths Laying to Honor Veterans
When: Saturday, December 16 (rain or shine)
Time: 8:30-11 a.m.
Where: Miramar or Fort Rosecrans National Cemeteries and Greenwood Memorial Park
Activity: Placing ceremonial Holiday wreaths sponsored by various businesses, groups and individuals on the grave sites of our military veterans at local national cemeteries.
Details: This is a family event; volunteer as an individual, family or group. A formal ceremony from 9 a.m. (SHARP) to 9: 45 is followed by wreath placement. Wear comfortable shoes and clothing.
Parking: Parking can be limited, so arrival by 8:30 is best. At Fort Rosecrans parking will be in a Navy lot with shuttles to the cemetery.

When: Saturday, January 13
Time: 8:30-10 a.m. (with enough volunteers, may end earlier)
Activity: Pick up all wreaths from the grave sites, use a rake or broom to stack and drag to the roadside for pick-up.
