Teen Girl Scouts

Gold Award Committee Office Hours!
Are you working on your Gold Award project? Are you wondering what your proposal might be missing? Gold Award Committee members will be available each month between 4:30-5:30 p.m., before their regular committee meetings on the second Tuesday of the month. They will be there to connect with girls and adults and answer questions related to the Gold Award. Drop in and get your questions answered regarding the Gold Award process, requirements and proposals!
The committee meets the second Tuesday of every month, in the Leadership Center at our Balboa Campus. Although these are informal office hours, please let us know in advance if you plan on dropping in, by e-mailing Leah McFail at lmcfail@sdgirlscouts.org so we can be sure to have enough committee members available.

Teen Girl Scout Leadership Experience is about all the exciting opportunities available for older girl scouts. Leadership Awards like Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards, travel opportunities like Destinations and Bridging in San Francisco, adventure trips like skiing, backpacking and white water rafting! Teen Scouting is also about scholarship and college exploration, sports and journalism. Check back here for more information about upcoming events being planned for the older girls. Consuelo is our committee chairman for Sunnytrails Teen activities, reach her at teens@gssunnytrails.com

Silver Award Ceremony
Girls from Rainbow Cluster receive their Silver Awards in a ceremony at Salt Creek Recreation Center.

Robin Lemon runs the Rainbow Cluster which is the group of older girls who meet monthly in the South Bay cluster@gssunnytrails.com. Rainbow Cluster Meetings are for Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors. Come join our yahoo group for regular updateshttp://groups.yahoo.com/group/rainbowcluster/ Come join our yahoo group because we don’t meet every month. Some months are girl planning boards and some meetings. In order for everyone to really know what’s happening they need to get the email notifications directly from the group. Also not being in the group means they miss out on all the wonderful last minute opportunities and events that come up.
