Basic First Aid and Adult CPR

Crown Cove Aquatic Center, in conjunction with Southwestern College, offers First Aid and CPR once a month on Saturday. There is no fee for the class, just a $18 charge for the book and $10 certificate from the American Heart Association. This satisfies the Girl Scout requirement for training so that you can take your troop on field trips and camping. Designed to prepare individuals to recognize and treat injuries and sudden illnesses. It needs to be renewed every 2 years. CPR needs to be renewed each year. This meets the requirements for basic first aid and adult CPR in the workplace. The first aid class is given through council for $45, it’s with the American Red Cross and is good for 3 years with CPR needing renewal every year.   For Registration call or email   (619) 575-6176 safetyafloat@swccd.edu

  • Our Basic First Aid and Adult CPR classes are no longer thru the American Red Cross, they are now thru the AMerican Heart Association.

The certificate received at the end of the training is an AHA certificate.
