International Thinking Day Faire Update

We’ve got some exciting additions to our International Thinking Day Faire on Feb 26th.  We’ll have girls dressed in historical uniforms
and Carol LeBeau from Channel 10  who is heading our centennial committee in attendance along with Chula Vista Mayor Cheryl Cox who is going to present Girl Scouts with a special proclamation and Congressman Bob Filner! There will be plenty of media coverage and photo opportunities. Be sure to wear your uniform or a costume from your country and join in the celebration!

  • Hi, I received a phone call last night, regarding the faire asking if my troop need electricity for our food item for Sweden. My troop change our country to the Philippines and decided to do a game. Can you let me know if we should bring our items for the game, or just come as participants. Thanks.

  • Unfortunately we’ve already ordered patches and purchased all the paper goods and troops are preparing a specific number of samples and crafts so we’ve closed registration for the event. I’m sorry. We hope to make it an annual event though, so I hope you can make it next year.

  • Do you still have space for a troop of 5 as participants + leaders for the International Thinking day event?
