Fall Product Program – Nut Sales

Fall product program is beginning! I’m Julia Robles, service unit fall program coordinator. You can contact me at nuts@gssunnytrails.com.

M2 Access

You should have received your M2 invitation email this week. Click the link in the email to set up your password and your administrative level access. TFMs with completed agreements and valid registration have also been uploaded to M2. If they have not received an email by Friday, Sept. 30, please instruct them to confirm submission of their TFM agreement, then visit gsnutsandmags.com/admin to select “Forgot Password.” Please advise them to be patient as the password reset email from M2 can take up to an hour to arrive, but is usually there within 10-15 minutes. If they click “forgot password” again before the link arrives in their inbox, the link will become invalid. If further assistance is needed, they may contact GSSD customer care at customercare@sdgirlscouts.org.

In a Nutshell

The next In a Nutshell update will be sent to registered troop fall managers. It includes information about  M2 access, the launch email to parents,  and bank account set-up.

Troop Roster

If you haven’t already, please request an updated troop roster from your SU registrar or manager. Saturday, Oct. 1 marks the start of the new Girl Scout year and new troops are forming.

ABOUT NUT SALES

The Girl Scout Fall Sale is a “friends and family” sale that provides our troops and Individual Girl Members (IRMs) with the opportunity to earn start-up funds for the new Girl Scout membership year. All proceeds stay in San Diego and Imperial counties to benefit local Girl Scouts. Troops and IRMs earn funds for their activities and community projects, while the council’s proceeds support events, programs, volunteer training, camps and facilities, plus the financial assistance that keeps Girl Scouting available and affordable for all. Through this program activity, girls develop five important skills they will be able to use throughout their lives:

  1. Goal Setting
  2. Decision Making
  3. Money Management
  4. People Skills
  5. Business Ethics
